Mr. Wood is responsible for developing and reviewing prospective investment opportunities, overseeing Tormont50 additions/ deletions, and participating in the management of the firm, in particular as lead point-person for Companies and Investors. He focuses on investments in the digital media, software-as-a-service, healthcare, blockchain and consumer services sectors.

As well as founding Tormont50, Mr. Wood is the past President of Tormont Group, a cross border Advisory celebrating its 6th year as an active participant in North American markets. Prior to Tormont Group Mr. Wood was the Managing Director of Equity Sales at Loewen Ondaatje where he was primarily responsible for leading financings and assignments for emerging companies. Prior to this he held active roles as Vice President at BMO Nesbitt Burns, as well as at CIBC World Markets. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Wood was a stockbroker at Midland Walwyn Capital. Mr. Wood received a BA from the University of Toronto.
